Task Statistics Do Not Update Once Server Exceeds 2000 Database Server Threads

Technote Number: 1209582

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# GCAR64UJNE and was fixed
in Notes 6.5.4 and 6.0.5. Refer to the Upgrade Central page on the Lotus
Support web site for everything you need for planning, deploying, and obtaining
the next release of your Lotus software.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.0.5/6.5.4 MR fix list
(available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/):

Statistics
SPR# GCAR64UJNE - Removed an unnecessary governor which would stop task
statistics from being updated when the number of server tasks reached 2000.

The "hung" alerts are generated because Domino returns an invalid (outdated)
timestamp value that is >24 hours old. The root cause was determined to be that
the Domino task statistics were updating once the server exceeded 2000 database
server threads.
