Running a manual NSD during any issues would help IBM Technical Support to determine what is causing the issue. So knowing how to run a manaul NSD

Running a manual NSD on Windows 2008

1. Open your Windows Command Prompt

2. CD to your Domino data directory

        cd C:\Domino\Data

3. Run your NSD

        C:\Domino\nsd

Running a manual NSD on Linux and AIX

(NOTES : use notes user when running a manual NSD on any linux flavor.)

1. Open a Terminal.

2. CD to your Domino data directory

     cd /local/notesdata/

3. Run your NSD.

    /opt/ibm/lotus/bin/NSD

Running a manual NSD on IBM i

1. Open your green screen.

2. Go to your Work Domino Server screen by typing WRKDOMSVR.

3. Do option 17 in front of the server you want to run a manual NSD.
