Table 2. Browsing Bookmarks

2.1	To get started with Bookmarks, you can browse the Public Bookmarks web pages that others have found interesting.	Show the Public Bookmarks page.
2.2	If you find a bookmark that interests you, click the More link to view available actions.	Click the More link
2.3	You can add a bookmark to your collection to make it easier to find at a later time.	Click Add to bookmarks link.
2.4	Add tags that are meaningful to you to help you find it later. Save the bookmark to add it to your collection.	Show Bookmark form. Add tags and click Save button.
2.5	You can also notify a colleague about a bookmark.	Click Notify Other People
2.6	A default message is provided or you can add your own note. An email will be sent to the recipient with a link to the bookmark.	Show the notification form. Add Ted Amado as the person to notify. Click OK to send.
2.7	You can add a bookmark to an activity, community or blog. This is a great way to share a bookmark with a project team or a group of colleagues.	Click More Actions → Add to Community. In the bookmark form, select a community and click OK.
2.8	If you encounter a bookmark that does not work as you expect, you can report the problem by flagging it as a broken URL.	Click Flag as Broken URL.
2.9	You can either send a notification email just to the owner of this specific bookmark, or you can send the notice to everyone who bookmarked this link.	Click to notify everyone who bookmarked this link. Click OK to send notification.

3.1	When you are ready to start creating your own bookmarks, return to the My Bookmarks page.	Return to My Bookmarks.
3.2	Connections makes it fast and easy to add bookmarks to your list using an Add Bookmark button on your browser's toolbar. Click the Bookmarking Tools link in the footer for help adding the button.	Click on How To Bookmark link.
3.3	Install the Add Bookmark button. When you see the button on your browser toolbar, you are ready to start creating bookmarks.	Drag Add Bookmark button to the browser toolbar.

4.1	To create a bookmark, open a Web page that you want to bookmark.	Click www.IBM.com
4.2	Click the Add Bookmark button on your browser's toolbar.	Click Add Bookmark browser button.
4.3	The title and URL are filled in for you. You can add tags to make the bookmark easier to find. You can also add a description to help you remember the contents of the web page.	Add tags and description.
4.4	You can choose to keep the bookmark private, so only you can see it, or make it public, so everyone can see it. You can also add the bookmark directly to a community, an activity, or a blog to share it with specific colleagues.	Show Public and Private options.
4.5	When you return to the My Bookmarks page, you can see the bookmark you created.	Return to My Bookmarks and show new bookmarks.

5.1	When you are browsing bookmarks for web sites that might interest you, tags are a great tool for finding the right bookmarks.	Return to Public Bookmarks
5.2	For example, to find bookmarks relating to an insulation rebate, click the social_business tag.	Show tag cloud and click rebate tag.
5.3	All bookmarks with that tag display.	Show bookmarks associated with rebate tag.
5.4	If you want to keep track of any new bookmarks that are created and tagged with the rebate tag, add that tag to your watchlist. A watchlist is a dynamic list of bookmarks associated with a tag or a person.	Add the rebate tag to watchlist. Show watchlist.
