Technote Number: 1089497

Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been addressed in
Domino 5.0.4.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 5.0.4 QMR fix list:

Mail Addressing - Server
SPR# BAKH3RLHYC, BAKH3RJN5B - Added functionality to determine if the existing
Directory Assistance Replica has become unavailable while the server is up and
running, and if so, to work to find the next available replica. There will be
short time interval on the server for failover to finish occurring, even though
the first client request will return immediately. [5.0.4]Supporting Information:

Below is a sample of what the Directory Assistance document would look like.
Note that there is more than one replica listed in the Replicas section and
that the Replicas are accessed in reverse order (for example, the first Replica
to be checked is Replica2).
