DWA users can accidentally remove themselves from ACL via Delegation if access is lower than Manager/Designer

Technote Number: 1217941

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# DADS6EXGQV, and fixed in
DWA 6.5.6.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.6 MR fix list (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):

Mail
SPR# DADS6EXGQV - If a mail file owner had access rights except
Manager/Designer, the owner was listed as a delegate on Domino Web Access
preference. When the owner deletes himself/herself from this list, he/she loses
access rights to his/her mail file. To avoid this problem, the owner's name is
no longer hidden from the delegate list when he/she is included in the list.

Workarounds:
The Admin can educate the users regarding the loss of access to the mail file
if they remove themselves from delegation in DWA .

Or

The Admin can give the users either Manager or Designer access to the mail
file, and their name will not show up in Delegation; therefore, they will not
be able to remove themselves from the Database ACL.

Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading Notes/Domino.
