Domino for zOS 7.0 install fails due to Perl settings

Technote Number: 1229536

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# HANA6KYQBX and fixed in
Domino 7.0.1. Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading
Notes/Domino.

The error occurs because the execute permissions are set incorrectly on the
Perl file. To work around the issue in Domino 7.0, after you execute the
multiple CD Install process and BEFORE you install Domino, execute a chmod 0777
on the following file:
/usr/lpp/lotus/os390/domino/tools/bin/os390/Perl

The /usr/lpp/lotus/os390/domino directory is normally referred to as the Domino
install directory. However, the multiple CD install process new to 7.0 now
asks for the name of a directory to put the install code. That is the directory
/tools/bin/os390 where Perl will be installed from the CD.
