When you reply with Internet-style history to an email, the each line of the history is marked with a character, and the line length is limited. By default, this character is a right-angle bracket (>), but you can change the character. You can also change the length of lines.
To change the character or the line length, follow these steps:
In standard Notes
- Click File > Preferences.
Macintosh OS X users: Click Lotus Notes > Preferences.
- Click the plus sign beside Mail, and then click Internet.
- Under When composing Internet-style replies, type a character that should start each line.
- Type a length (in characters) at which text should wrap.
In basic Notes
- Click File > Preferences > User Preferences.
