Outlook setup is now complete. Restart all the machines for the changes to be effective.
When the machines have started, send a mail from Outlook to Notes. The Notes user should receive the mail successfully. Now have the Notes user reply back to that mail. The reply should be successfully received by the Outlook user.
As a Notes user, create a Calendar invite with invitee as the Outlook user. The Outlook user should receive the icalendar invite successfully. Accept the invite as the Outlook user, and the Notes user should receive the notice.
Things to Note :
Make sure that the ip addresses of the machines/VMs where server are hosted are static.
Because there are settings done at server's based on the ip addresses, dynamic ip addresses lead to issues in the set up.
Conclusion:
To conclude, using the SMTP settings on Domino server and Exchange servers respectively, the routing between Notes and Outlook is enabled.
