Deployment Scenario 5 (S5) demonstrates how to deploy Lotus Connections in an advanced standalone environment. This scenario is designed as an end-to-end guide for deploying Lotus® Connections 2.5 in a Microsoft Windows environment using SQL server as the database server.

ATTENTION:
This deployment topology has limitations and is targeted for a few configurations, primarily very limited pilots or limited deployments that only have one or two Lotus Connections applications deployed and where the organization does not want High Availability or the ability to scale the deployment to handle higher load at a future time. The Network Deployment configuration is recommended in most situations as it establishes a strong base for future growth and availability even if only a single server is initially deployed.
