NSD -kill fails on Linux if user name is over seven characters long

Technote Number: 1211460

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# MIAS69VHKD and fixed in
Domino 6.5.5. This problem is specific to Linux on zSeries; it is not a general
Unix problem. Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading
Notes/Domino.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.5 fix list (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):
SPR# MIAS69VHKD - The command "NSD -kill" doesn't work on Linux if the user
name is over 7 characters long. The userid returned from the ps command is
truncated to 7 characters, which is the field size for the user id. This fix
increases the returned field size to allow for user ids of up to 20 characters
long.
To work around the issue in earlier releases, kill all the processes manually.
