This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# SMOS64NHKE and was fixed
in 6.0.5/6.5.4 and 7.0.

SPR# SMOS64NHKE - When an activity has run too long or during Domino shutdown,
LEI could not kill the activity....it would remain active. This problem has
been fixed in 6.0.5 and 6.5.4.
