Administration
SPR# XMXL6JN5TX - The 'restore' and 'restore and delete' menus were not
displayed in the local archive if the server archive was disabled in the server
configuration.

Preferences
SPR# YHAI6LC6LU - When "Archiving on server" was disabled in the Server
Configuration Settings document, some commands were lost in the local archive
mail database. For example, "Restore" and "Restore And Delete" were not
displayed from "Move" on the Inbox menu bar or from the right click menu. This
problem has been fixed in 6.5.6.
Refer to the Upgrade Central site for details on upgrading Notes/Domino.
Supporting Information:
Follow these steps to access the Archiving on Server setting.
1. Open the Domino Server Configuration document > Domino Web Access tab. In
the Other Settings section, find the 'Archiving on Server' box. If it is not
selected/enabled this is the reason why the "Restore" options are not seen in
Domino Archiving.
2. Edit the Server Configuration document > Other Settings > Enable Archiving
on the Server.
3. Save & Close.
4. Restart the HTTP Task on the Domino Sever(Tell Http restart)
5. Open the Mail file that you were no longer able to see the "Restore" &
"Restore" and Delete".
6. Right-click "Go Offline" and bring down a New Subscription. This will bring
down all the new configuration settings and allow the restore feature in Domino
Web Access.
7. Archive a document from your Domino Web Access Mail file and open the
Archive file. Now you should see the restore from Archive Options.**Note** If
you still do not see the option to "Restore" & "Restore" and Delete" after
Right-Clicking on a document please make sure you have brought down a New
Subscription.
------------------------------------------------
Steps to reproduce problem:
1. Create a User with the iNotes6.ntf and allow user to Go Offline.
2. Open the Mail file through the browser and Install the DOLS Off-line
Configuration on the Users Machine.
3. Once the DOLS Off-line Sync completes select one document from the users
mail file and Archive the document.
4. Now open the Local Archive and Notice the "Restore" & "Restore" and Delete"
is available to restore the original document back to the mail file on the
server when you Right-Click a specific document.
5. Everything should be working correctly and you should see the document
restored back to the mail file.
6. A few days later and some changes made have caused this feature to no
longer be available. You have tried uninstalling the subscription, reinstalling
the subscription and even changed machines but you are still not able to
Restore any documents from your Archive.
7. The only way to currently Restore is take a copy of the local archive on the
users machine and manually move the documents from the Archive file back into
the Server Copy. This is not feasible since this is happening company wide and
we don't know of any changes that have affected the environment to lose this
feature.
