Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering, and was
addressed in the Notes/Domino 6.5.1 mail templates.
It was not the original intention that the prompt which appears (when soft
deletions are disabled) should occur when deleting documents from the Calendar
view; the behavior now is that no warning dialogs appear when deleting
documents from the Calendar view.
Additionally, the property "Suppress Delete Dialogs for Calendar and Scheduling
Items" was intentionally removed as one of the settings under the Calendar
Preferences because the expected behavior was no longer designed to be
dependent on its setting.

Steps to Reproduce Problem:
1. In your Notes/Domino 6.x mail file select Actions > Tools > Preferences.
Select the 'Calendar & To Do' tab, then select the Autoprocess tab. In the
'Automatic Inbox Management' section of the dialog box, select "Prompt to
Confirm Deletion" in the drop-down under 'When You Delete a Calendar Notice
from your Inbox or a Mail Folder/View'.
2. Switch to the Calendar view and create a Calendar entry such as an
Appointment.
3. Switch to the All Documents view. Select the Appointment and select the
DELETE key on the keyboard. Note you are prompted appropriately with the .
4. Switch to the Calendar view and create another Calendar entry.
5. Select the Calendar entry in the Calendar view and select DELETE key.
6. Note that there is no 'Delete from Calendar' dialog box with the prompt:
"Permanently remove the selected document(s) from the Calendar?"
