"Function Requires a Valid ADT argument" Error Attempting To Save Reservation in Resource Res Db

Technote Number: 1108049

Problem:
This error occurs if the Resource Reservations database is using the Domino 6
version of the template (Resrc60.ntf) and the Notes Client is an R5 release and
the resource itself has owner restrictions set on it. Resources with no owner
restrictions do not exhibit this problem.

This issue has been reported to Lotus Software Quality Engineering, and is
currently under investigation.

Workaround:
Either remove the owner restrictions or comment out the "Check if entry is
created in the past" section of the template.

Steps To Reproduce Problem:
1. On a Domino 6.x Server create a Resource Reservations database based on the
"Resource Reservations (6)" template (Resrc60.ntf).
2. Create a test resource that has owner restrictions with autoprocessing
turned on. Interestingly, resources with no owners or restrictions do not
exhibit this problem.
3. Access the server from a Notes 5.x Client (such as 5.0.11), go directly into
the Resource Reservations database, and attempt to create a reservation. Note
that you are able to select the room and perform a free time lookup; however,
you try to save the document. the error "Function requires a valid ADT
argument" occurs.
