Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been addressed in
Notes 5.0.3.
Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 5.0.3 QMR fix list:

SPR# CJIN4DVASN - Prevent the error, 03:CC, from occurring when compacting
pre-R5 databases that have folders in them. [5.0.3]
This issue does not occur in either Notes 5.0 or 5.0.1.
