Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering and has been addressed in Domino
6.5.3.

Directory Services
SPR# HARL5RBDWB - When the administrator enables the "Group Expansion" option
for an LDAP domain in Directory Assistance, nested Group expansion will also
always occur for those groups in LDAP. This behavior occurs when checking
access control during web access and other authorization behavior. This
behavior occurs in 6.0 and above.
The only workaround is to disable group authorization. Note, however, that
groups in the LDAP directory will no longer be available.

If nested group authentication is desired and log-in times are excessive, then
the network connection between the Domino server and LDAP server should be
