Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.0.7 QMR fix list (available
at http://www.notes.net):

Mail Client
SPR# MALZ4GZQWC, FSCT4NNNSV - Fixed a problem where Action Copy into a new
calendar entry or meeting resulted in 2 calendar or meeting documents in the
Inbox. This regression was introduced in 5.0.2a.

A workaround is for the invitee to do the following:

1. In the Calendar, click on the meeting notice that appears as if it has
already been accepted (handshake icon).
2. Select Actions, Remove From Folder.
3. Open the other Invitation notice and respond to the meeting invitation.

Another option is to copy the e-mail sender's name to the clipboard prior to
performing the Actions, Copy Into, New Calendar Entry; then after switching the
'Entry Type' to Meeting, switch to the 'Meeting Invitations & Reservations'
tab, click in the Invite field and select Copy, Paste from the menu to paste
the sender's name in.

For Scenario 2:
This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering (spr #MALZ4SSTK8) and was
addressed in Notes 5.0.7 Client and Domino 5.0.7 Server. Please note that this
is a TEMPLATE fix rather than a CLIENT fix; upgrading to the 5.0.7 mail
template is necessary.

Calendaring & Scheduling
SPR# MALZ4SSTK8 - Copying from the calendar into a new calendar entry, no
longer results in duplicate documents in the inbox.
