Cannot create a replica using AdminP if database is full text indexed and ACL is enforced

Technote Number: 1109623

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering and has been addressed in Domino
6.5 and 6.0.3.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.0.3 and 6.5 MR fix lists
(available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):

SPR# DSCK5L7JUC - Adminp will now properly create stub replicas when source has
maintain uniform access control set. Prior to this fix authentication would
fail.

In releases prior to 6.0.3, you can work around the issue by following the
steps below:

1. Manually creating the replica using the File, Replication, New Replica menu
sequence,

2. Disable the "Enforce a consistent Access Control List across all replicas"
option (located on the Advanced tab after choosing File, Database, Access
Control) before using the Create Replica(s) tool.

3. Uncheck 'Copy Access Control List' in the 'Create Replica' dialog box when
using the Create Replica(s) tool in the Administration client.

Note: Using the second workaround of disabling the "Enforce a consistent
Access Control List across all replicas" option may cause the ACL Log History
to not be maintained.
