Scan Unread Dialog Box Pops Up Unexpectedly in View After Closing Document

Problem:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering and was addressed in Notes
5.0.10 Client.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.0.10 MR fix list (available
at http://www.lotus.com/ldd):

Client UI
SPR# MGRT4USLU6 - Fixed the Scan Unread dialog box from appearing in a view
after the document is closed. This regression was introduced in 5.0.7.


Note: This issue also occurs in Notes 6.0.2 and 6.0.3, and has been reported
to Quality Engineering as SPR# KMUR5VPLD9.


Supporting Information:

The following steps will reproduce the issue.

1. Open the Notes client Workspace interface (click the Databases folder on the
Bookmark bar on the left side of the screen, and at the top of the bookmarks
list which appears, click Workspace).
2. Select Edit, Unread Marks, Scan Preferred from the menu.
3. In the Scan Unread dialog box, click the Choose Preferred button.
4. Select a few databases from the Scan Unread Preferred Setup and click OK.
5. Back at the Scan Unread dialog box, click View First Unread.
6. Once the document is displayed, press the ESC key to close the document
window and display the database view. The Scan Unread dialog appears in the
view and you must repeatedly click View First Unread.
