Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been addressed in
Notes 5.0.5.
Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Lotus Domino Release 5.0.5 QMR fix list:
Client
SPR# SKLZ4BXLP2 - Fixed a soft deletion problem which caused replication to
fail and displayed the message "Error replicating, document has been deleted".
It has been found that when 'soft deletions' is disabled, the issue no longer
occurs. Disabling 'soft deletions' for all users has resulted in no more
instances of this issue for this particular customer. This setting is under
File, Database, Properties on the Advanced (beanie) tab of the Database
Properties Infobox. More >
