Problem:
Microsoft Outlook scenario:
This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# JKBH5JJ59G and was
addressed in DWA 6.5.4, 6.0.5, and 5.0.13.
Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 6.5.4, 6.0.5, and 5.0.13 MR fix
lists (available at http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus/):
Mail
SPR# JKBH5JJ59G - Email containing HTML was being rewritten to ensure that
those pages were safe to display within the iNotes Web Access HTML. This caused
the loss of Outlook "stationary" and some problems with Embedded Objects. This
has been changed so that such documents are displayed (but not printed) within
an imbedded IFRAME, which is safe for iNotes Web Access. When printing, the
re-writing will be done as before, because of IE limitations when printing
IFRAMEs. (In this case, stationary is generally undesirable anyway.)
Non MS Outlook scenario:
This issue has also been reproduced when the sender was not using MS Outlook.
In another case, the message was an HTML e-mail with active image links. This
issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# IBAN6AYURK , and was fixed in
Domino Web Access 6.5.5. This issue does not occur in Domino Web Access 7.0.
Excerpt from the Lotus Domino Release 6.5.5 MR fix list (available at
http://www.ibm.com/developerworks/lotus):
Server
SPR# IBAN6AYURK - Broken links caused red X's in Domino Web Access 6.5.3 on
certain HTML messages. This problem has been fixed in 6.5.5.
