R5 Calendar View Displays the Start Time of Meeting Invitation off by One Minute

Technote Number: 1089790

Problem:
This problem occurs if the chairperson of the meeting edits the Location field
of the meeting document after originally sending it to you (invitee). Changing
the Location field triggers a reschedule notice appropriately. However, the
start time of the meeting should not change. In previous releases of Notes,
the calendar view does not change the start time.

This problem was introduced in Notes/Domino 5.0.6. It has been addressed in
Notes/Domino 5.0.8.

Excerpt from the Lotus Notes and Domino Release 5.0.8 MR fix list (available at
http://www.notes.net):

Calendaring & Scheduling
SPR# JJOS4UYPUJ - When users change the Location, Room, Resource, etc. on an
existing Meeting, the meeting is rescheduled to 1 second ahead, which appears
in the View to be off by 1 minute. The fix will allow users to send out updated
information without the meeting moving in the view. This regression was
introduced in 5.0.6.

Supporting Information:

Steps To Reproduce Problem:

1. Create a meeting invitation for, say, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM. Leave the
Location field blank and don't place anything in the Room/Resource fields.
2. Add at least one invitee.
3. After sending and saving the meeting, reopen it.
4. Enter some data in the Location field.
5. Save and send the invitation. The modified invitation is sent to the
invitees appropriately, but the Start time (startdatetime) at the view level is
one minute earlier than scheduled (9:59 AM - 11:00 AM).
