SPR# YCDL7438UQ - When a file attachment is added to a new message, and it is an exe file, the icon is gotten by using the first icon within the executable file. To do this it must know the location of the file on the local file system. When a message is opened for reading, there is no local path, and the only way the icon can be determined is after the file has been downloaded. So there is no way to get the correct icon for a file on the server. The fix in this case is to use the generic shell icon for a batch file.
