SPR # RSTN7H3DNV fixed in 7.0.4; 8.5.1 releaseRecommended Release (14.5)

Product Area: Server Technical Area: Clusters Platform: Cross Platform

SPR# RSTN7H3DNV - Added a method to allow an Administrator to specify the amount of the NETIO that will go into the Transaction Time as a maximum, used in calculating Server Availability Index in a Domino cluster.
This requires a new notes.ini parameter which can be used to test if the idea that we have will help to better calculate the SAI. This fixes a problem where the Server Availability Index (SAI ) was not working as expected as a few users with a slow network connection were causing the SAI to be calculated as too low, causing server failover when the server is not loaded. The NOTES.INI, SERVER_NETIO_THRESHOLD, has been provided to tune transaction times and hence the SAI. Utilizing this parameter is useful in cases where a few sparse long transactions with high NETIO causes SAI to become zero.
