SPR # PCOY5UWKHR fixed in 9.0 releaseRecommended Release (14.0 FP1)

Product Area: Client - Basic; - Standard Technical Area: Calendar & Scheduling Platform: Cross Platform

Template fix: mail9.ntf

SPR# PCOY5UWKHR - When an All Day Event or Anniversary was created in another time zone it might not show on the correct day. Creating an All Day Event or Anniversary calendar entry while running in a particular timezone, can result in that calendar entry dispalying on a different day in the calendar view if you change the Notes Client to a different timezone. This can cause problems for users when they expect an All Day Event or Anniversary to appear on a particular day in their calendar, regardless of which timezone the Notes client is running. A person's birthday is a good example. With this fix, the All Day Event or Anniversary will remain on the specified day, regardless of which timezone the Notes client is running in.

The fix for this issue is resolved with a set of mail database template changes as well as changes to the Notes Client.

For a customer to realize this fix, they will need to upgraded the design of the users' mail databases to the mail9.ntf template, and upgrade the users' Notes Client to version 9.0 or later.

This fix is not currently available for the browser based iNotes user. A separate SPR exists for this issue in the iNotes client (SPR # FPAI8QTJKY)
