SPR# PMIA665L56 - Better recovery from transient low memory conditions. In networking no check was made for a memory allocation failure. Fix is to check the status of memory allocation calls. Also, in the authentication code executed when a user connects, the code halted on a memory failure. The fix is to return an error.
