SPR# BKAN9QER3Z - Since R6 the default behavior for iCalendar Decline messages coming into Notes has been to treat them as if the RSVP parameter was FALSE (the iCalendar default). iCalendar does not clearly indicate how a "keep informed" flag should be sent and all other external calendar vendors do not have the ability to "opt out". That means they act as if every Decline has "keep informed" set. To better interoperate with these systems the default RSVP handling for Decline notices was changed from FALSE to TRUE unless the value is specified. This will mean that when a Notes meeting owner reschedules a meeting that a non-Notes user had Declined, the non-Notes user will get the reschedule notice rather than no longer receive any updates.
