The regular use of MS® SQL server 2008 brings one problem or the other at times. You have to keep lots of patience after such difficult situations. Under some of the tough circumstances, you can’t even mount SQL server database which poses data loss like threatening situations. Data inaccessibility and sever corruption makes SQL database fails to work and makes you delve into insecure condition. The corruption reasons like human errors, automatic system shutdown, power failure, virus attacks, Hardware issues, etc makes condition tough to tolerate.   • Verify the location of SQL database files: Then, make sure that you check the MDF and LDF file location and confirm the Database Engine account need credentials to access SQL database files.
  •  Restart the Database: Make sure that you restart the SQL Server database via ALTER DATABASE query. This query helps in setting the SQL Server database to online.

By trying above mentioned methods, you can try to set the SQL database up. Still, if you fail to mount the database, then go for some other solution.
