Sometimes when you upgrade your Domino environment you cannot see the new Policy Settings documents such as Roaming, Traveler etc., however they are available from the Create>Policy Settings menu.  Also the policy documents show the old choices for settings and not the new.

To fix this issue create a new Domino Directory locally, you'll need to select the Show Advanced templates option to see the Domino Directory (pubnames.ntf).  Go to the hidden views by selecting Ctrl+Shift, if the database is open select the View>Go To menu option.  If your opening the newly created database from the Workspace or the Open button, hold the Ctrl+Shift down and the hidden views will open as you open the database.  A hidden view is signified by the brackets around the name of the view.

Select the ($PoliciesExt) view, select all the documents (Ctrl+A) and then Ctrl+C to copy them to the clipboard.  Open your servers Domino Directory and go to the same view ($PoliciesExt) and delete the current documents and paste the recently copied documents.

Test by clicking on the Add Settings button in the Settings view and by editing a current policy or creating a new policy.

Attached is a screenshot of the extended policy documents in the ($PoliciesExt) view.
