In a tabbed table, you can indent the tabs, so they don't display starting at the edge of the table.
- Click in the table, and then click Table > Table Properties.
- Click the Table Rows tab.
- In the For tabs section, click the arrow to specify the number of indents you want in the Indent first tab field.
Note: Tabs on the top or bottom of the table indent from left to right. Tabs on the left or right side of the table move downward.
