Fixed Issues for 2.8

This release includes the following fixed issues:
  • Fixed several minor issues in the LMI.
  • Removed some consumers of memory that might have lead to memory exhaustion after several weeks of high load.
  • Several security enchancements at the system-level and in the LMI.
  • If a relay host was not configured in the SMTP settings, ZLA was not active. ZLA now works independently of the relay host settings for the SMTP service.
  • Solved an issue with the XMail server restarting with hundreds of TLS connections.

Known Issues for 2.8

This release includes the following known issues:
  • Installation on IBM System x3650-M2 and IBM System x3550-M2 might lead to a boot attempt via PXE after the first reboot of the imaging process. Should this happen, press CTRL-ALT-DEL or reset the machine to initialize a normal boot. The imaging process should then finish normally.
  • You can lose system route settings if you switch from DHCP to static IP configuration and vice versa. Routes are applied correctly after a reboot.
  • In some instances, you might not be able to preview a log file in the Log Files browser. Should this happen, you can view the content by downloading the file to your system.
  • If an MX record points to an IP address instead of an A record, XMail will not send the message (resulting in temporary delivery errors). If there is not an MX record, XMail will try to send the message to the A record.
