Explanation:

This parameter when set  equal to 1 will track the starting and stopping of notes process.  This may help resolve cases where processes disappear from the process table.  An additional requirement is the system limit for "core file size" is set sufficiently large. This generally means an unlimited setting is proper as the files can be several gigabytes.

Not present. Setting  to 1 turns on this debugging.

Recommendation:
Diagnostic debug for cases where processes are terminating unexpectedly.
