I had set this up in the past but since upgrading from 8.5.1 i can no longer see the enable option. However - it is still syncing with my mail file, even though i cannot see the option. Originally when setting it up, it was not available so i tried applying different PerNames template versions and eventually found one that allowed me to see the tick box - but i can't remember which version it was and anyway, it was not reliable as sometimes it was there and other times it was not.

I am again trying to work with contacts embedded into our mail files, but when i follow the steps to enable this in my Address Book, the tick box is not there.  The steps I am taking are:

Open names.nsf
Click Actions > More > Preferences.

I expect to see the option - Enable "Synchronize Contacts" on the Replicator

but it is not there.

I am running an 8.5.3 Basic notes client on W7 Pro with a server also running 8.5.3 64-bit on a W2003 server.

Fix: Check if the local names.nsf is using the correct design (double check that your pernames.nsf is current and do a Replace design with it on names.nsf).
