SPR# KRAU89RN75 : The dialog "The installation of the IBM Lotus Control has been blocked or declined.   Do you want to use the IBM Lotus Control on new messages?" was displayed when using MSI to download the Activex Control.  Fixed MSI to auto register DLL's instead of manually.
SPR# RSCR88GND8 : Intermittently, in some Notes 8.5.2 Standard clients running on Windows 7 64-bit, an incorrect image displays for all attachment icons. Typically, the incorrect image that displays resembles one of the following two icons:  a blue green circle inside a black square or a black circle above a black square.  This is a regression introduced in 8.5.2.

Cache Mode
SPR# DPAT87LSBS : Prior to this fix, MMR (Managed Mail Replica) wasn't fully created/replicated using policy with new setup (HTA=Set initial value or SetWhenMod).

Calendar & Scheduling
SPR# JFBM85TTZY : With this fix, the size of the attendee fields on a iCalendar invite will be limited so the maximum size of summary items will not be exceeded.  These fields are set to 32K in default.  This limit can be configured more specifically via the $IcalSMTP2NtsAddrLstSzLmt ini parameter (such as $IcalSMTP2NtsAddrLstSzLmt=36 to allow lists to total 36K).  These fields combined with all other summary fields cannot exceed 62K.

SPR# YHUO888CGK : Prior to this fix, rescheduling a room was keeping the reschedule and original booking.  Fixed the template to process the rescheduling.
SPR# YHUO888CGK : Prior to this fix, rescheduling a room was keeping the reschedule and original booking.  Fixed the template to process the rescheduling.

Calendaring & Scheduling
SPR# MMDD6Q4K62 : When you printed a calendar and selected the "print calendar to a document" option and "weekly style", Notes put unnecessary space between calendar entries. With this fix, Notes doesn't put the extra space any longer.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.1.
SPR# THIO79KGFD : New Notes.ini variable, "iNotes_WA_PreferICMHostname", added to use ICM host name when opening another user's mail file from the group calendar.

SPR# SWAS89WSF4 : Fixed a deadlock between GUL lock and DBUQSem.
SPR# TSOE887PYX : In Domino 8.5,  changes were made to the way notes were allocated in an NSF that forced allocations to the end of the database.  That has a negative effect on inplace compaction of databases that are on a live server.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.
SPR# TSOE88PQNU : Detect and repair specific corruption problems with location document $LastReplicaIDs item. This is a companion fix to a crash SPR JPAI84WKVX, also fixed in this fix pack.

SPR# MALK854G7J : Fixed a crash issue printing a document because of a null pointer reference.
SPR# RBEO87LQZX : Fixed an issue with mail header disappearing.  If a size-to-fit column had a name field, Notes sometimes failed to calculate the column width when you log in to embedded Sametime.  The mail header is one of such tables.  When this happened, Notes gave up showing the table.  With this fix, Notes calculates the column width correctly.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.2.
SPR# WTON7A3LH2 : Notes crashed when it opened a bitmap with a negative height.  With this fix, Notes shows the bitmap correctly.

 SPR# LXUU87S93W : A fix for a webcontainer defect.

Java
SPR# NBRR8A8U7D : Addressed a problem where mousing over calendar entries in the standard client will show the wrong date if the calendar invitations fall within a period of time that DST rules have changed on the operating system, but have not been appropriately updated on the JVM.  Java agents which utilize time zone classes in their logic will also not function properly, if they are performing date/time calculations in the impacted zones.

LotusScript
SPR# JASG7CPTZK : Fixed an issue with LotusScript code in the PostOpen event where the current document was not available from the workspace when opened in the preview pane.  This regression was introduced in 8.0.
SPR# JASG7CPTZK : Fixed an issue with LotusScript code in the PostOpen event where the current document was not available from the workspace when opened in the preview pane.  This regression was introduced in 8.0.
SPR# JCOR899K56 : Fixed a crash that would occur while navigating after Directory.LookupNames.

LS Data Object
SPR# PALT7X9LYD : Prior to this fix, $KeepPrivate would not allow users to copy text from a document.  This regression was introduced in 8.0.1.

Mail
SPR# ASUH8829T3 : Added support for the Notes.ini variable "iNotes_WA_NoOptimizeLocalRouting".  With this ini variable, the first non-Notes Domino will be stripped in the cc list when a user replies to a memo.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.2.
SPR# DSCK86PJ74 : Fixed a server crash due to a double free on a handle.  This problem only occurred in an error condition.
SPR# JFAL89QS6B : Fixed a problem where new entries that were added to the type-ahead list during the current login session were not used when creating a new mail message.
SPR# MOSI882K9E : Prior to this fix, @Domain was not added to the username when using Copy into New Message.
 SPR# SSZG7AC6BK : SPR# SSZG7AC6BK : After previewing a mail message, pressing "insert" to toggle read/unread status does nothing.
SPR# THIO87A8LS : Prior to this fix, in the Delivery Failure Report, the address list to which the mail was not delivered contains
tags.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.1.

Mail Server
SPR# LMIL88Q62X : After upgrading to Lotus Domino 8.5.2,  users can stop receiving SMTP mail. The Domino server CPU spikes on SMTP and may appear to be hung.  This is a regression introduced in 8.5.2 and was previously fixed in 8.5.2 Interim Fix 1 (IF1).
SPR# SEGN85MKYN : Notes/Domino stores font face names internally with a maximum length of 32 bytes.  Names longer than that are truncated.  However, N/D was improperly truncating some non-ASCII face names by not performing the truncation at whole character boundaries.  This caused N/D to not recognize when it had already added a face name to its internal table and so it incorrectly created many new entries, eventually filling the table, thus causing the bug.  N/D now checks the face name string to determine if there is a partial character at the max length boundary and, if so, it truncates the string at the previous whole character.
SPR# TPON7XGH46 : Prior to this fix, Domino rewrote the Sensitivity Header in SMTP mails.  The sensitivity header is mapped to the item value, $KeepPrivate="1".  This header has any of these values -- Personal, Private, or Company-Confidential.
Changes have been made to give customers control over the mapping of the Sensitivity header to the $KeepPrivate item.  The changes introduce three new ini settings:

SMTP_NO_MAP_PERSONAL   - if set to 1, do not map 'Sensitivity: Personal' header to $KeepPrivate="1"
SMTP_NO_MAP_PRIVATE    - if set to 1, do not map 'Sensitivity: Private' header to $KeepPrivate="1"
SMTP_NO_MAP_COMPCONF   - if set to 1, do not map 'Sensitivity: Company-Confidential' header to $KeepPrivate="1"

The default value for these settings is 0, so that if all are 0, then, as before, a Sensitivity header with a Personal, Private, or Company-Confidential body will be mapped to the notes $KeepPrivate item with a value of "1".  Personal and Private have been mapped to $KeepPrivate="1" for a long time, while the mapping of Company-Confidential to $KeepPrivate="1" is relatively recent.  Wiith the introduction of the new ini settings, customers can choose which, if any, of the settings are mapped to $KeepPrivate="1".

MIME
SPR# NORK88VQ6P : Prior to this fix, the mime parser caused the smtp server to hang when processing some incomplete mime messages.

Navigation
SPR# JADS83UG8V : Prior to this fix, a user was prompted with the login dialog in case their password was null.

NT Integration
SPR# YGAO7UPHML : Under some circumstances Notes Single Logon may delay windows logon because of a delay while interacting with Windows perfomance data on the local machine.  With this fix, Notes Single Logon will no longer look for performance data so it will not slow down Windows logon.

Replication
SPR# JPAI88GGPA : Fixed a Notes Client hang due to an issue when requesting content in multi-thread replication.  This problem can occur when a new background replication request is about to be processed.
SPR# KKOO66F4BW : Prior to this fix, enabling the calendar preference for automatic responses to meeting invitations in a local replica, would not work.
SPR# RMAA88UAGF : Fixed an intermittent crash in Domino when the Notes client is exchanging unread marks between replicas.  This is a regression introduced in 8.5.2.

RSS Feed Reader
SPR# GMAA87KJ42 : Fixed a problem where users were unable to access RSS feeds until they have authenticated with the proxy either by opening an internet session or opening an email that has HTML images.  We will now try up to 20 redirects or security challenges before failing to update.
SPR# IFAY88DH6Q : Prior to this fix, RSS feeds in Notes were not getting updates (deletions or additions to the feed) with a proxy redirection or security authentication.  We will now try up to 20 redirects or security challenges before failing to update.
SPR# MWER88NFWT : Added an option to allow customers to override the "User Agent" value for Notes Client Feedreader. By default, Feed Reader authenticates itself as "MSIE 7.0" even on Linux and Mac.  Customers can optionally add the following 2 lines to the /framework/rcp/plugin_customization.ini:
 com.ibm.rcp.feedreader.providers/network.useragent.override=true
com.ibm.rcp.feedreader.providers/network.useragent=CUSTOMER SPECIFIED VALUE (<-replace CUSTOMER SPECIFIED VALUE with the value of your choosing)

Search
SPR# HSAO8A2MTK : Fixed an HTTP crash on Linux when trying to open a document from the browser.

Security
SPR# AMYS89TPQ9 : Fixed the problem that after federating with Google calendar, Activities encountered a connection problem.
SPR# DJAG89QN7Q : Fixed a defect to correctly encrypt an ID file when using Notes Shared Login and encryption algorithm standards. Prior to this fix, a user would be prompted for a Notes password when NSL should have simply authenticated on it's own.
SPR# DMNL84VP85 : When creating a new internet certifier via Domino Administrator the "Name of ICL database to be created" field would automatically be populated with a randomly named database.  This problem was caused by changing the dialog to use layout management.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.2.
SPR# JBEN88X84P : With this fix, iNotes will not check for Nonce on the client when request checking is disabled.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.2.
SPR# LIBL89DCM8 : Fixed a problem where code was deleting and adding back certificate documents to the PNAB, which resulted in replication conflicts.  This fix was to not delete but update the existing document in the PNAB.
SPR# OFFI89KL49 : Error "illegal null parameter passed to security function" when renaming to a different certifier with a longer or shorter hierarchical name.  For example moving from a certifier /Acme to certifier Sales/Acme.  This SPR is similar to BBSZ82YFZ6.
SPR# PLOR7N5TU4 : Severe performance problems can persist for view rebuilds on machines that have higher level encryption on the local database.  This fix alleviates this problem by properly using the local access protection in the database access.
SPR# RPAI88DGMY : Fixed password checking and ID vault features from causing a password digit lockout.
SPR# RPAI88DGUX : Prior to this fix, when resetting the password in the ID Vault, the password digest for that user was not reset in the directory immediately.  Added the Notes.ini variable "IDV_RESETPASSWORD_DIGEST=2" to use on the vault server to get the adminp request to generate on reset.
SPR# RPAI89AHD5 : Prior to this fix, an ID Vault user with higher than 64 bit RC2 id file encryption was downgraded to 64 bit RC2 id file encryption after syncing with the vault.  The ID file encryption strength will be re-set to RC2 64 bit after syncing with the ID Vault.

server
SPR# HNAA7SPB6X : Fixes crash seen on windows 32 platform where Domino server crashes during shutdown with ProcessTerminateWinSock(). The fix disables usage of WSACleanup API by default on windows due to MS issues.

Server
SPR# JPAI84WKVX : This fixes a defect where an invalid item on a note causes the Notes client and domino server to hang and/or crash.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.2.
SPR# KBRN899NF6 : Fixed a problem where setting Disable_Random_RW_File_ATTR=1 in the notes.ini does not disable setting RANDOM RW file flag.
SPR# MSER883QLZ : Fixed a server crash while running platform statistics.
SPR# RPAI88DGZF : This fix eliminates administrative costs of recovering a user who is locked out of their server with password checking normal use.
SPR# TSOE88VMVP : Fixed a crash that occurred when writing out the super block in a partially complete state due to contention during an error condition.  Crash error was "Handle 0x0 is not a valid MEMHANDLE" during LockMemHandle during CollectSuperBlock call. This regression was introduced in 8.5.2

Serviceability
SPR# NBRR8ACSYK : This fix enables DBX by default for the crashing process, per pre-8.5.1 behavior.

Symphony
SPR# MFJA8B2B4K : Sub title is interpreted incorrectly and the layout is distorted in Symphony 1.3 after loading the files created by Symphony 3.0.
 SPR# MLUO89F5N4 : Outline/indent for paragraph is inconsistent between Symphony 1.3 and Syphony 3.0.
SPR# MLUO89F8PN : The "start at" properties is lost if you open and then save a .ppt file with Symphony 3.0 and then open it with Symphony 1.3.
SPR# MLUO89F8TP : Fixed a problem where the Donut chart displayed incorrectly in Sym 1.3.  The chart was created in 1.3 and saved as an .ods document.  Once reopened and saved in Sym 3.0, you can see that the chart is displayed incorrectly.
SPR# MLUO89F8XA : When you have a user defined validity list created with Symphony 1.3 and then open and save it with Symphony 3.0, the dropdown list will not work with Symphony 1.3 any longer.

System
SPR# DTEI87MB4Q : Customers that use multiple languages and large numbers of forms in different versions of iNotes may run into memory failures. This fix resolves that problem.
SPR# MKIN88PQSQ : Customers that use multiple languages and large numbers of forms in different versions of iNotes may run into memory failures. This fix resolves that problem.
SPR# ZKCO8AFB4T : Fixed exhaustive private memory usage if a particular language setting is done in iNotes preferences.

Ultralite
SPR# WLWL8898KH : When a chair cancels a meeting, or an invitee declines a meeting from a meeting invitation, a warning message is shown to the user. This message is not automatically read by screen readers, so users who rely on screen readers will not be aware of its presence.  With this fix,  the warning message will be automatically read by a screen reader when it is shown.

Web Server
SPR# MKEN8B2N28 : Some xPages applications end up with error 500.  Fixed problem where there can be a concurrency exception thrown when accessing the NSF Component module hash map.  i.e.:
 11/7/10 3:02 AM: Exception Thrown
 java.util.ConcurrentModificationException
    at java.util.HashMap$AbstractMapIterator.checkConcurrentMod(HashMap.java:122)
    at java.util.HashMap$AbstractMapIterator.remove(HashMap.java:146)
    at com.ibm.domino.xsp.module.nsf.NSFService.checkTimeout(NSFService.java:155)
    at com.ibm.designer.runtime.domino.adapter.LCDEnvironment.checkTimeout(LCDEnvironment.java:204)
    at com.ibm.designer.runtime.domino.bootstrap.BootstrapEnvironment.tellCommand(BootstrapEnvironment.java:387)
    at com.ibm.domino.xsp.bridge.http.engine.XspCmdManager.tell(XspCmdManager.java:92)

Widgets
SPR# DMDD84ZPFZ : Addressed the issue where users are getting multiple restart popups when installing several provisioning widgets at the same time.  Users are clicking restart on the first prompt and this will interrupt the remaining installs/uninstalls.  i.e.: If you drag and drop (DND) 3 provisioning/feature widgets into the My Widgets sidebar panel, the user will get the popups for restart.  If they click restart on the first one, the processing of the next 2 gets interrupted.

xPages
SPR# MKEN8APRFU : Fixed XPage runtime memory leak.  Java objects were being leaked on every xpage request.

XPages
SPR# MKEN8B3QWG :  Fixes an issue in XPages java heap memory leak where garbage collector is not reclaiming nsf component modules.
SPR# PHAN89ZB5T : If a network read error occurs during an http post, the initialization of internal java objects does not complete and a java thread local is not set/reset correctly.  This causes all subsequent xpage requests that are processed by that thread to fail and return an http error 500 to the client.  Code was added to detect this case and reset the thread local so that subsequent xpages requests do not fail. This was a regresson introduced in 8.5.2.
SPR# TGUZ8A2LAL : Prior to this fix, it was not possible to catch an error in JavaScript when the JSON string parsed by fromJson() is invalid.

XPD
SPR# CREH89B2VB : Some Sametime users experienced intermittent login failures when using SPNEGO authentication.  The platform was unintentionally removing the LTPA token from the account used to authenticate with the SPNEGO authentication server.  This fix corrects the error so that SPEGO authentication works reliably.

XPD Runtime
SPR# CSMH899S2L : Enabling a feature may fail to configure because one or more if its features are uninstalled or upgraded by another process, causing the main feature to become orphaned.  When this happens, the main feature will be removed from the manifest and the config operation will not fail but a warning added to the log.
SPR# FBUE88YJ5D : Error "Provisioning process failed to launch or was stopped before status could be determined" displayed after installing the Notes standard client with ST Embedded and ST Advanced Embedded.
SPR# PCDL87KD9S : Changed internal provisioning logic for how desktop icons are created and removed in Symphony.
SPR# QFHO84GJ47 : Installing 851, 851 FP4, Symphony 3.0 Add-on causes Notes not to launch. The issue is that Sym 3.0 includes base features. Some of these base features are patched. When the new base feature is installed, it orphans the feature patches. When Notes is launched it tries to configure the feature patches and the launch fails because the feature that the patch is intended for is no longer available.
SPR# QFHO89B9A8 : Fixed a problem after installing Symphony 1.3 and the ODFPatch where Symphony will keep re-launching.
SPR# QFHO89L52E : Provisioning "cleanup" action failed when upgrading Symphony on Windows and Mac.
SPR# QFHO8A59ZL : Prior to this fix, the rcplauncher failed to launch if there were quotes in the path variable on windows.
SPR# SVRO88FMRL : Fixed an intermittent problem where the email body content was not displaying in the preview pane for mime messages.  This regression was introduced in 8.5.1 FP4.
SPR# XYGU86Q8FJ : Error "A Java Runtime Environment (JRE) or Java Development Kit (JDK) must be available in order to run Symphony."  was displayed after right clicking on the Symphony icon on the task bar to pin it as attached.
