All operations that require a meetings or chat desktop interaction are now managed with a single, browser WebPlayer plug-in. The WebPlayer plugin is required for meetings and chat in Windows. Administrators can push the meetings WebPlayer plug-in to desktops and follow these steps to silently install it using a command line interface.
Tags: webplayer, plugin, silent_install, meetings
The plug-in manages Web meetings features such as desktop and application sharing, and Web chat features such as screen capture, file transfer, and audio-conferencing.

Users can download and install the WebPlayer directly from the Meetings homepage. They can install via a browser. Or they can double click the desktop installer (setup.exe) to download it and run it from Windows.

For organizations that have locked-down desktops, the administrator can push the installer to individual desktops for silent installations.

Procedure

1. Start a command prompt and run as an administrator.
2. Navigate to the directory where desktop installer (setup.exe) is downloaded.
3. Run the following command:
setup.exe /S /V"/Lvx* install.log /qn INSTALLSCOPE=machine "
