Configure your browser's pop-up settings to allow Connections Cloud Chat messages to reach you. And to allow you to control A/V during a Meeting.

Problem:

You are not notified when someone sends you a Connections Cloud Chat message because your browser is set to not allow pop-ups. You cannot use Audio/Video in Meetings because A/V controls are blocked by a browser's pop-up blocker.


Solution:

1. Check to make sure your browser supports IBM Connections Cloud. Check the browser's supported here.

2. Enable your browser to allow pop-ups Connections Cloud web sites. Instructions that follow are for IE and FireFox browsers. Adapt these instructions if you are using
a different browser.

Internet Explorer


1. In Internet Explorer, click Tools > Internet Options, then select the Privacy tab.

2. Click Settings.



2. Add the following web sites to the allowed sites list:

apps.ap.collabserv.com
apps.na.collabserv.com
apps.ce.collabserv.com






FireFox settings:

1. Click Tools > Options, then click Content next to Block pop-up windows.



2. Add the following three web sites to the list of allowed sites:
apps.ap.collabserv.com
apps.na.collabserv.com
apps.ce.collabserv.com
