Partner applications can extend the IBM Connections Cloud™ user interface (UI). These UI extensions allow users to launch external applications from within the Connections Cloud UI and also pass information to those applications that are related to the current context.

Partners can add and manage their own user interface (UI) extensions UI so that they show up at predefined locations in the UI. The places that can be extended are called extension points.
