1. Ability to open classic LN component from xPage in Lotus Notes. Typicaly opening LN documents(forms) from xPages views.
E.g.  we need to create portlet like UI integrating data from different LN databases. XPages would be great for this, but how to get back to LN ?? We cant make a one step switch from 10 LN databases application to xPages, we need some slower migration scenario, but its dififcult to find some.

2. Ability to open xPage in Notes frame. All our LN applications are based on very common UI layout - frameset with left and right frame. Current integration require to open xPage in completely saparate tab, what brigs user out of application. Would be very helpful if we can open xPages in frame.

This would help us to integrate xPages into existing apps without making it as a separate world. Unfortunately currenty its easier to integrade classical LN application with MS Office than xPages.   :-(

You're not likely to get the ability to open an XPage in a Notes frameset anytime soon.

But you can get the same behavior out of a composite app context. Obviously that requires deploying a composite app. Have you looked into this yet?

It would be a commercial for me to get into details here, but my employer has some technologies that might ease this transition if you want to discuss. Drop me a note at ntf@us.gbs.com
