Open doc in edit mode

Hi,

I am trying to open a notes document on the web using Xpages. The document can be opened from a Notes view where i have designated one column as 'Show values as links'.

I am trying to open the document in a Xpage, but i cannot change the view design. Hence i changed the form properties to display the Xpage when opened.

My problem is that now how do i control which mode (read/edit) the Xpage will open in? I tried switching it on pageLoad event of the Xpage and the document binding but no avail.

Suggestions and pointers in the right direction are welcome.

Hi,

a document can be normally opened in edit mode if you add a "?action=editDocument&documentId=1234567890ABCDE1234567890ABCDEF12" to the url of the XPage.
