Select columns to display in a view?

Is there any way to let the user select which columns they want to see in an xPages view control? I showed them an enhanced data grid, which allows reordering of columns and filtering, but they prefer the xPages view control, and asked if they can use that option, but be able to select which columns they want.

Maybe

If you had one XPage where they selected you could then open up a second XPage where you showed the view columns they selected using the loaded property. For that matter, you could stay on the same XPage and used the rendered property and reload the page (refresh). That should do it...

I love the idea! I'll display a list box with the column titles, and display/hide them depending on which values are selected. I'll give it a shot, thanks!
