View on xPage doesn't display any data

I have an xPage and I’m using the Notes client, version 8.5.2. That xPage must display a view. When new document is being created from web-interface, the view with all data is displayed. But after saving that document when we open it in xPage, the view doesn’t display any data. When the view and the data are in the same database as the editing document, then it displays everything well, but when I want to display data in the view from another database, it is empty.

 Does anybody know what causes this problem?

Could you post your code or better, a sample database?
