I have a form with a rich text field light (accepting attachments)
In the form I can upload a pptx (powerpoint) file to a field . No problem

In an Xpage I would like to upload a pptx to this same field with a File upload control.
This isn't working .
When i try to upload to this field a pdf or jpg file ,everything works. Not with a pptx file.
Mime type is set to automatic (also tried "application/octet-stream" which seems to be the correct Mime type for a pptx file, what I can see with the File download control) , but no luck !

What kind of error you get?
How is the file size of the pptx file?

Re: can't upload pptx file with File upload control
Size  is ok since I have uploaded it  already through a form. (3 mb)
 No error message .
After pressing the Submit button it's counting from 1 % till 100 % .
but
In the submit it should refresh completely which doesn't happen.
The other items in the  form have been created , but the rich text field is empty.

When I upload another file like pdf or jpg everything works fine.
Then the refresh is complete and the form is created with all the items and the RTF contains the file.
