Can't see XPages & Controls in Application Navigator

I have a very strange thing happening. All of the sudden I can not see the XPages and Custom Controls in the Application Navigator. I looked in the Designer Preferences/Application Navigator and the XPages and Custom Controls are both checked off. I Deselected them and saved the preferences and closed the designer. Then I reopened the designer, obviously the XPages and The Custom Controls did not appear. Went back to the Designer Preferences and selected XPages and Custom Controls in the Application Navigator Saved the changes closed the designer then restarted it, Still not there. Any idea on how to fix this?

Have you tried switching to the XPages perspective?

That did it. I really don't know how it got changed, but it is there now. So many different places that things can get changed and simple fix hard to find. I have a theory "Things that are hard to find are easy to fix, things that are easy to find are hard to fix"
