Hi, i want to select rows from a view and display them on an Xpage. I have the whole view on the Xpage right now, and it will be usually more than one row that i want to display.
The Xpage contains a Project Number which i want to compare to the Project Number field of the view, only if they are the same the row should be displayed.

Is something like that possible and how?

Re: Select Rows from a View
Sounds like you want to do View Filtering.  One of the properties of a VIEW data source is filtering by category and filtering by column.

store the value you want to filter by in a scoped variable and set the property equal to that variable.

Re: Select Rows from a View
Thanks for the soon reply. That is exactly what i want to do, sorry I am still a nub regarding Notes.

It works now if i select a column containing a String but it doesn't work for Integer. Is there a possibility to filter an Integer or am I doing it wrong?
The Scope Variable is right i checked that. But when i try to sort by the column containing the Integer i get "Error 500".

Could you post why it didn't work?  so if anyone comes along and finds this thread they might see the solution.

Thanks

Yes i can.
I double checked my fields and noticed that the Value was at some point changed into a String. After I changed that it worked.
