- Sounds like DDE has wonked out, which happens. The fixes in order of severity:
1. Relaunch and delete cache.ndk while Notes is not active. This very rarely works since 8.5+.
2. Close Notes, delete (rename, move) the workspace directly under the Notes application directory, and relaunch. This often works but erases most custom settings, like folding.
3. There is a command line switch to Notes, that I don't recall, which causes it to run the "new install" sequence; run Notes with that switch. This will utterly eradicate all your settings.
4. Completely delete and reinstall Notes. This is only marginally more destructive than step 3.
- Despite years of begging I have never gotten Lotus to tell me all the places that DDE & Notes cache things. With R8.0- it was pretty much always in cache.ndk. With R8.5+ it's scattered all over the workspace directory and possibly beyond.
Hope this helps...
