Problem with Domino View on Xpage

Hello all,

I'm trying to display data from domino view on my XPage and I want to do it using view pannel.

Unfortunately, I ran into all kinds of problems.

At first, no data was shown when I previewed XPage, just column headers from a view.

Then I read about reader and autor fields, which my underlaying form does have. I had been granted all privilegies via ACL, but it didnt help.

Next, on Domino View properties, I enabled option "Available to public access users"  which made my XPage show categoriezed column, but no underlying rows were displayed. Just for test sake, I made another column categorized, and then data from that column was shown, but I need all the data.

Can somene please explain what's going on here, becuse I'm at loss for a while now....

Re: Problem with Domino View on Xpage
If your authenticated user id is not listed in the author/readers field of a the document either specifically or by group then you will not see any of the documents.

This has nothing to do with XPages and everything to do with notes security.

Can you open the same view in the notes client and see the documents?  If not, then you will never see them in the view control either.

Fix or address the security issue and the data will then appear as it should in the view control.
