Newbee question: Xpages - Listbox filled with values in edit mode

I have created a Xpage with a ListBox. The listbox ist binded to a Notes field and gets the values over DbColumn().
If i make new document, i can select my values from the ListBox. So far so good. But  If i edit an existing document, in the ListBox appear the first entry from the view. And the original entry is gone. 
 
What can i do?

Maybe the field in the form is not set to be multivalue?

I have changed the Notes field to multivalue. But the behavior is the same in edit mode.The first selectable value appears.
What can i do? Should i change something in "option multivalue?
