Hi.  

I have a notes application with a button to launch a file on the fileserver (e.g. K:\docs\doc1.pdf). 

Is there a way to create an XPage that allows the user to launch the file on the network drive ?

For implementing security it would be great if it is the domino server (windows administrator) accessing the fileserver so the drive itself (K:\) can be protected to be accessible for admin users only.

Can someone help me out on this or just tell me I am dreaming ?
