Hey Dudes and Dudettes!

This is very familiar, isn't it?  HTTP 500 errors come in different shapes, I have a no clue about this one.  Perhaps I need a better URL to research, have not found anything yet.

I am using one of the very famous Mindoo Blog posts 'Series # 11', works fine in the Client so it is nothing with the workings of the project, my guess it is local to the physical side of it, running dde on a Win 7 machine...

Could this be a network issue?  I started to look in that direction...  In this case I am working locally, other attempts to load Apps that should have worked all met the same treatment.

Error 500
HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception

In this case I also do not have a friendly Xpage error list in my browser, and my local log does not say much:

What do you think may be happening?

About the only thing I can recommend is start taking components or custom controls off of the xpissues xpage and see when the error stops happening. I know that's a pain, but sometimes when no decent error presents itself it's the only option.

Hi,
what about the other logs?
On domino server look for {dominoData} /IBM_TECHNICAL_SUPPRT/xpages_exc_*.log

Re: Xpages (Java) HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled (Server Shutdown)
Okay, I was able to find additional information, with your help guys...  I found out I did do a reinstall of the full Lotus Notes Domino Designer product, and my Apps have worked without issues on servers and locally prior to below.  It must be the resintall I did wrong...

Problem is there's isn't a clear way to redo this since then, a .msi file not found error keeps popping up when I try to remove IBM folders and start from scratch.  For now I do not have hompage.nsf anwhere in the software, seems like my projects are looking for this to run properly through a browser.

The best option seems to be fixing the current issue...

I wanted to provide this log, what concerns me is would below have to do with the homepage.nsf file that is missing.  I was reading somewhere this is one of the Web Servers running internally, is this true, how do I get it back?

Side Note:
I should perhaps mention the same Apps work on a different machine without issue.  And my having to reinstall, has to do with an unrelated project where I had to install Virtual Box, an Oracle product, and during the install Virtual Box screwed up my network settings, could not get online using my Win 7 machine... then I figured out how to get the network running again but I believe my Xpages projects started to have problems then...  I have been suspecting it is a network issue but I could not have proof of that, still not sure where to look...  Also does not explain why homepage.nsf would be missing.

Perhaps this might help a bit with below!

Re: Xpages (Java) HTTP Web Server: Command Not Handled Exception
Much appreciated response...  Adding an admin account worked.  CAUTION:  The Admin account works best if a password is not set, that's teh only way it works for me.  Virtual Box reconfigured Windows 7 permissions somehow for the user I built the App under.

Thanks to you All ...
