dojoType on xp:link - how can I achieve this?

The button-object has dojoType property, but the link hasn't. I can't set it manually (directly in the source) as it's not defined.

I wish to use the Dojo Lightbox on the click of a link and the simplest approach by far is to set dojoType="dojox.image.Lightbox" and enable parseOnLoad on the XPage, but this doesn't work for links...

Any takers?

Unfortunately, as you say, dojoType is not available on the Link control. But Matt White and Tim Clark showed a good example of how to use the Dojo lightbox control in a couple of sessions they've done at LUGs and Lotuspheres. Follow this link to the presentations on Matt White's blog http://mattwhite.me/presentations/ . XPages Blast and XPages 101 both have examples using the lightbox.

You can also you xp:text with dojoType, and then use the tagName attribute to set the tag to "a" to create a link ... then set your href through the use of a dojo attribute...
